What a welcome

okay, so catching up a bit......




First trip to the Dode's on day of arrival, Rose, Pete, Chris, Mike and Jude all popped round later that evening - could easily have been a Thursday!

just to let you all know we arrived safely if not just a little tired/////`we had an ugrade to first class all the way, not bad eh///going to the Dodes tonight to see everyone..all the Farleys, they just happened to be going to see Dodo and Elsie so we will go round at about 6.30.. `sam had to hacksaw my case open, as we could not get the combination lock to work.

A very Merry Xmas

Peter Tich Karen and Dette and all the little ones came round for an early Xmas....Chicken and chips etc....a dip in the pool first then food and finally present opening....most enjoyable.....Everyone enjoyed themselves and the little ones behaved impecably of course...they all get on so well despite the difference in ages...Amelia of course stole the show.....Now comes the serious bit the packing and decideing what to take and what to leave...presents of course take precidence....Can't imaging coild weather and so its difficult to know what to pack... Emirates I am sure wont allow the whole wardrobe...Decisions...decisions....Not long now....in fact this time next week we will be almost landing....Mom

what a day.

spent the day just lazing around in the pool, far to hot to do anything...42o thats hot..... Told Cammy and Mellisa this evening that we were going to be in their house for Xmas, they seemed pleased.....they promised that Sara would write to Santa to let him know we would be there....Have hedged our betts with letter to Santa from Aus and U.k. hope he finds me....

visitors to Oz

Early morning start on Fiday 1 December, met Rosalie and Gwynn at Tullamarine Airport, great to see them again so I am sure there will be some serious eating and red wine drinking before our trip and after.....
